After a busy day with too much coffee (if there’s such thing as too much coffee) what better way to unwind then to go out in the late afternoon sunshine with my camera. A little stroll through the fields with the sun on my face and little charming lilac-pink wildflowers scattered around. These little beauties are called Lady’s Smock or Cuckoo Flowers. A treat for the eyes and for my camera…
While I was happily experimenting with my camera settings and nature’s beauty, feeling the stress flow out of my body, a little surprise popped up from nowhere. Very small and perfectly disguised, so I nearly missed it, a little male Orange Tip was soaking up some sun on top of one of the flowers. Giving me the chance to take a few pictures before it decided to flutter off again…
